Navin Goonniah is a registered psychologist and Director of Mind Over Matter Psychological Services in Western Sydney. He is also currently completing a Juris Doctor at Macquarie University. His legal studies complement his interest in the interface between psychology and legal processes; Mind Over Matter does not provide legal advice. His professional work includes psychological assessment and treatment, trauma and psychological injury, workers compensation matters, and court and medico-legal psychological reporting.

He has extensive experience working with presentations in which psychological symptoms interact with physical injury, pain, functional impairment, employment, compensation processes, legal proceedings and broader psychosocial stressors. His assessment and reporting approach emphasises objectivity, clear reasoning, transparent identification of any relevant treating relationship, and conclusions supported by the available clinical and documentary evidence.

His clinical work includes evidence-based psychological treatment, trauma-focused interventions, EMDR and clinical hypnosis where clinically appropriate.

Manori Goonniah

Manori Goonniah is Head of Client Relationships and Strategic Growth at Mind Over Matter Psychological Services and is often the first point of contact for clients, referrers and other stakeholders. She brings extensive experience in business ownership, consulting, business development and relationship management. Manori supports the practice by coordinating client communication, strengthening referral relationships and helping ensure that enquiries and administrative matters are handled with professionalism, responsiveness and care.

Social Media Consultant

Belle Todorovic

Belle Todorovic is Social Media Consultant at Mind Over Matter Psychological Services and also supports reception and administrative functions. She has completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and is undertaking further study in psychology. Belle contributes to the practice’s communications, social media presence and day-to-day client administration while continuing to develop her knowledge of psychology and mental health.
